Комментарии автора: A tribute to Koksijde rescue. After a mission above sea the helicopters are contaminated with salt water. The salt will corrode the metal parts of the helicopter. Therefore the fire brigade will wash every helicopter with fresh water after a mission. This action is the so called “rotor wash”. The guys from the fire brigade will spray water over the main rotor which will blow the water all over the helicopter to wash it completely.
